Bruce L. Bigley decided to become a CPA when he was 13 years old. His first accounting job was with a local CPA firm located in Cleveland, Ohio where he was an associate accountant. He then proceeded to Columbus, Ohio and worked for a National CPA firm that specialized in real estate partnerships and construction companies. This is where he learned about the various State Tax Fillings. He became the State Tax Specialist nationwide for the firm. The company was Kenneth Leventhal & Company. In addition to the tax specialty, he was given the responsibility of creating new business for the company along with being the accountant that prepared the certified audits for the Limited Partnership clients.
Bruce left the CPA Firm in December 1974 and started Bruce L. Bigley CPA in Columbus, Ohio. The firm specialized in small business accounting and entertainment clients. In 1985, the firm was sold. He had 3 offices in the state of Ohio and 12 employees.
Bruce moved to Los Angeles with his wife and two children. He opened up another CPA firm which specialized in entertainment accounting. The firm grew and at the same time, his wife opened up a talent agency in Hollywood, during that time, Bruce was involved in trying to manage a $3M agency and the accounting firm.
Currently Bruce is a practicing CPA in the state of California although he prepares tax returns for clients throughout the entire USA. Bruce has been a CPA for over 38 years and has maintained a high level of ethics and standards, even though he tries to make sure that all his clients take advantage of all the available deductions that are allowed by law. Bruce currently represents clients all over the world in the entertainment industry, computer gaming industry and general business accounting.
Bruce has been involved in packaging syndications from real estate to oil wells to equipment deals to movies. Bruce looks for fair, honest deals to attach himself to for him and his clients.
